ADSPICIO
Animation by VFX artist Ahmed Ali Hussnain.
adspicio. to look/gaze on/at, to behold.
Adspicio has been the most meaningful project I've worked on so far. It's a story of personal grief translated into cinematic healing. Drawing from a deeply personal event with fictional undertones, I was able to bring my vision to life alongside incredibly talented artists.
Completing the final product and sharing it with family, friends, and strangers moved me profoundly. But what struck me the most were the conversations that followed. People whom I'd never met before shed tears and opened up about their interpretations of life and death. Powerful messages of gratitude poured in, sharing how they'd found healing in a piece that had originally healed me. I was speechless.
For me, that's what made it all worth it—not only finding personal healing in the project but also marking the lives of others in such a profound way.
After awakening in an unsettling realm, a devoted mother and musician navigate through a series of bewildering signs while searching for means to communicate with her daughter.
